We are actively hiring an Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning with TS/SCI w/ Poly to join our team working in Chantilly, VA. You will design, develop, test, evaluate, and deploy AI/ML models and ensembles across generative AI, classification, prediction, computer vision, natural language processing (NLP), and reinforcement learning. You will draw on your expertise in AI/ML algorithms, software development, and cloud computing to take models from experimentation to secure, scalable production.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop AI/ML models and ensembles using the customer's data and requirementsPreprocess, clean, and analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data to assess its usefulness for AI model training and testingWork with staff officers to conceptualize, design, develop, and run experiments that verify model performance and system soundnessDeploy and maintain AI/ML models and ensembles in cloud-based environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and securityDevelop and maintain extract, transform, and load (ETL) pipelines, SQL configurations, and performance metrics that support AI/ML applicationsDocument and communicate methods and findings using the customer's formats and templates. This may include authoring analytic publications, producing ad-hoc reports, creating data visualizations, delivering presentations or briefings, and documenting methods in GitHub repositoriesProvide technical education to staff on AI/ML topics on an ad-hoc basisServe as an AI/ML subject matter expert supporting the customer's initiatives
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be accepted in place of a degreeDemonstrated professional experience with Python or R for AI/ML developmentExperience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or KerasExperience developing and deploying AI/ML models, including model tuning, experimentation, validation, and benchmarkingExperience with cloud computing services from major providers, including cloud-based AI/ML development and deploymentExperience with version control systems such as GitHub
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AI/ML model explainability and interpretability techniquesExperience with verification and validation test benchesExperience with web development frameworks such as FlaskExperience using Tableau to produce visualizations and dashboardsFamiliarity with the customer's enterprise services, security controls, and data management practicesPrior experience supporting the Intelligence Community
