Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced AWS & Node.js/Java Architect to lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS cloud architecture, backend development using Node.js and Java, microservices, and distributed systems.
The candidate will be responsible for defining technical architecture, driving cloud adoption, establishing engineering best practices, and providing technical leadership to development teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable, highly available, and secure cloud-native solutions using AWS.Define application architecture and lead backend development using Node.js and Java.Architect and develop microservices-based applications and RESTful APIs.Leverage AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and other relevant cloud services.Establish architectural standards, design patterns, coding guidelines, and best practices.Drive cloud infrastructure automation using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployment.Ensure application performance, scalability, reliability, security, and cost optimization.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders.Provide technical guidance, conduct design and code reviews, and mentor engineering teams.Identify technical risks and recommend solutions to improve system architecture and overall delivery.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Strong experience in AWS cloud architecture and cloud-native application development.Extensive hands-on experience with Node.js and/or Java.Strong understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and RESTful APIs.Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and IAM.Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.Understanding of cloud security, authentication, authorization, and application performance optimization.Proven ability to lead technical design discussions and guide development teams.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
AWS Solutions Architect certification.Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale applications.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.Experience with cloud monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
Ideal Candidate: A hands-on technical architect who can combine strong AWS expertise with Node.js/Java development skills, lead architectural decisions, and deliver scalable enterprise-grade cloud solutions.
