Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer with a strong NLP focus to design, develop, and optimize AI-driven language technology solutions. This role is ideal for someone passionate about natural language processing, machine learning, and applied AI, who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-moving environment and wants to contribute to the success of a growing SaaS company.
Responsibilities:
Train, fine-tune, and benchmark state-of-the-art ML models, leveraging recent advancements in deep learning.
Develop and optimize Large Language Model (LLM)-based solutions, leveraging prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques to enhance language processing capabilities.
Develop and automate scalable NLP pipelines for model evaluation, feature extraction, and fine-tuning, ensuring reproducibility, efficient data handling, and seamless orchestration of multi-step workflows.
Engineer and extract meaningful features from structured and unstructured language data to improve model accuracy and robustness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML solutions into our platforms and services.
Stay up to date with the latest NLP and AI research, identifying opportunities to incorporate cutting-edge techniques into our products.

Qualifications:
Degree in Computational Linguistics, Machine Learning, or a related field.
5-7 years of work experience in NLP, ML, or applied AI, with a proven track record of deploying ML models in real-world applications.
Strong expertise in text processing techniques, including tokenization, lemmatization, POS tagging, named entity recognition, and embeddings.
Proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, NumPy, and Pandas.
Familiarity with Transformer architectures (e.g., BERT, GPT, T5) and recent advances in deep learning for NLP including LLMs and their applications.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps practices is a plus.
Awareness of data governance, data quality, and security best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills in English.
