Product Manager – Aritificial Intelligence Services (Bixby)

Overview

We are looking for product managers to bring their ideas to life and to build AI services for Samsung’s suite of devices including mobile, speakers, wearables, etc. In this position, you will be part of a collaborative team of world-class researchers and engineers in the field of AI technologies, encompassing voice assistant, computer vision, AR/VR, and robotics.

Position Summary:

The Product Manager will join the Global Product Management team. The Bixby global team works closely with global teams in Korea and local teams in Mountain View and San Jose across various internal organizations – including business, engineering, architecture, and linguists – to define requirements and roadmaps for Samsung Bixby. This product manager will champion the product design and realization from inception to launch and post-launch.

Responsibilities:

Contributing to the vision and strategy of our overall products and services.
Acting as Product Owner to drive clarity of the product to meet commercial and strategic goals.
Defining and articulating use cases/features/requirements for features that have been proposed.
Ensuring that features/requirements meet certain entry criteria before assignment to a release.
Soliciting and formalizing feedback from business teams and technology partners.
Ensuring adherence to Product Management processes related to change control, documentation, etc.

Qualifications:

College degree in Computer Science or similar. MBA preferred.
5+ years of product management experience.
Strong market analysis skills.
Empathize deeply with our customers and advcatate for their needs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Team player with exceptional time management skills.
Proven previous experience in end-to-end product lifecycle (concept through deployment and maintenance) is required.
Technical and business confidence to assert and/or defend positions regarding definition and priority of features.
Proactive, self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work independently at all levels in the organization.
Able to travel internationally (<25%).
