We’ve partnered with a Fintech client who are looking for a visionary Principal Machine Learning Scientist to lead innovation across their AI and Data Science initiatives.

What You’ll Do
• Lead and mentor a world-class Data Science team, fostering innovation through experimentation and rapid prototyping.
• Develop and execute a data science strategy aligned with business and product goals.
• Design, build, and deploy advanced ML/AI models (including LLMs and generative AI).
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and other teams to identify and deliver data-driven opportunities.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Stay ahead of AI and ML trends—bringing the latest ideas to life at FinTrU.
What You’ll Bring
• 10+ years of experience in Data Science/AI, including 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• Proven ability to lead ML/AI initiatives from concept to deployment, ideally in regulated industries.
• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Deep understanding of transformers, LLMs, and generative AI.
Desired Qualifications
• Experience working with Financial Institutions and unstructured data sources.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based data solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Passion for ethical and responsible AI practices.
• Familiarity with Agentic AI or autonomous systems.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
