PROFILE:

You graduated from an Engineering School with a master’s degree – a PhD is a plus
You have a proven experience in different environments and technologies using Artificial Intelligence and you have occupied a position among the following: Artificial Intelligence engineer or Artificial Intelligence specialist, start-up CTO and Artificial Intelligence expert
You are a mentor willing to share your knowledge
You are recognised as a team player and enjoy collaborative work
You have synthetic and helicopter view of the organisation
You enjoy thinking “outside the box” and being creative
You are resourceful, structured and solution oriented
You want to influence and guide teams for strategic and technical decisions using an “outside in” approach
You are user centric and want to design innovative solutions to fit your customers’ needs based on a continuous update of your expertise

LIFE AS A THALES ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE SCIENCE ROLE

As an Artificial Intelligence Science Role within Thales, you will:

Bring innovation through collaborative and multidisciplinary teams
Support, develop and promote the Artificial Intelligence discipline at the highest level of the organisation
Contribute to Thales Artificial Intelligence strategy by developing expertise in your Artificial Intelligence Speciality domain
Propose and design Artificial Intelligence functionalities and alternative approaches or breakthroughs
Work on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Understanding (NLU), and also to design multimodal approaches for Human-Machin Dialog including intention understanding, reasoning and hybrid AI
Define the system capabilities thanks to a functional, logical and value analysis, describing functions to be performed to meet the real needs of the user in the various scenarii and maximising product value for Customer
Translate end-user needs into specifications (user centricity)
