Overview
Responsibilities
* Creation of data models and algorithms to fulfill business needs, utilizing data science methodologies, machine learning capabilities and statistics.
* Computer Vision – Design, Develop, optimize, and iterate through computer vision models including fine grain classification, Product object detection, feature extraction etc.
* NLP – Designing and building components such as Topic modeling, Information Retrieval and Text Classification.
* Analyze structured and unstructured data coming from different data streams.
* Delivering clean, working, reusable and well-documented code
Skills And Requirements
* Working knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as time series, anomaly detection, Clustering, Association, Deep Learning.
* Deep understanding of Statistics and Predictive modeling concentrate, machine learning methodologies, clustering and classification techniques and optimization algorithms.
* Experience with common data science languages, toolkits and libraries, such as R, Python (Numpy, SciPy, Pandas, and scikit-learn)
* Experience with Tableau, Power BI or other Data Visualization tools
* Experience with data cleaning/munging.
* Experience in with SQL scripting
* Expertise using the latest machine learning libraries/packages
Academic And Professional Qualifications
* Are enrolled in or have recently completed PHD in data science, machine learning, computerscience, applied mathematics, statistics, and/or related advanced analytics field.
* Minimum 2 3 years of related experience, including professional / internship or projectbased, with exposure to data science concepts, mathematical modeling, algorithmdevelopment and computational tools on a variety of platforms, frameworks, andmethodologies (i.e., R, Python, Spark (PySpark), SQL, etc)
Length of the internship: 3+ months with the possibility to full time conversion
