Overview

A Data Machine Learning Engineer position is now available at a global technology company. The chosen applicant will be developing big data infrastructure. This is a hybrid set-up and long-term contract role based in Tokyo.

Responsibilities

• Execute diverse tasks ranging from conceptualisation to implementation
• Communicate extensively with other teams in English
• Design, develop, and implement data platforms tailored for diverse businesses
• Develop and create user-friendly, scalable, and maintainable systems
• Create technical documentation in English
• Work on investigating and building big data infrastructure
• Optimise data pipelines, ETL processes, design and implement data models

Requirements

• More than 2 years of experience with big data technologies (Spark, Flink, Kafka, Arrow, Iceberg, DeltaLake, RockSet, Druid, Tableau, SuperSet, Dagster)
• More than 2 years of experience using SQL/NoSQL/Graph data store technologies
• More than 2 years of experience with Python…… Kotlin (Java), Go languages
• Practical experience with Agile development is ideal
• Prior experience using AWS, GCP, etc. is a plus
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes is preferred
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is an advantage
