The Department of Computer Science is seeking applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor.
We are seeking a colleague who has a research focus that will complement and bridge with one of our core areas of: theory; security; and data-centered computing, which includes machine learning, data mining, AI, and information retrieval. We welcome applications that can engage with these areas, particularly in the broad areas of: programming languages, systems, machine learning, software engineering, or human-computer interaction.
We are a rapidly growing department in a top-25 university located in the heart of Washington, DC. We are committed to building a diverse intellectual community and strongly encourage applications from those from underrepresented backgrounds.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related area and should show evidence of exceptional research promise.
