Our small team moves fast, ships real software, and works directly with scientists to turn complex pipelines into usable clinical products. You’ll work closely with our bioinformaticians and UI/UX designer to build robust, scalable tools powering next-gen data analysis.
The Role
As our second dedicated Software Engineer, you will work directly with our Principal Engineer to own features from the UI down to the infrastructure. You’ll help us bridge the gap between complex bioinformatic pipelines and intuitive clinical interfaces. We’re looking for a hands-on software engineer who’s comfortable owning the full stack – not just one layer.
What you’ll do
Build and maintain backend services (Django + DRF, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch)
Develop intuitive UIs with Vue.js and Vuetify
Contribute to our AWS-based infrastructure and CI/CD processes
Collaborate directly with scientists – translate complex needs into clean, maintainable code
We encourage engineers to use AI‑assisted development tools to accelerate coding and code reviews.

Qualifications:
4+ years building production software end-to-end
Experience with RESTful APIs, Docker, and AWS
Startup DNA: hands-on, pragmatic, moves with urgency, problem-solver,
Familiarity with clean architecture, or similar engineering principles
Strong Python backend fundamentals and solid JavaScript – Vue.js experience preferred
