The mission is to build machines that understand the world, starting with language. They build custom natural language processing solutions for product teams that want to introduce AI-based features to their users.
They help product teams perform tasks such as document processing and understanding and text generation, extraction, and classification.
Most of our work involves state-of-the-art large language models such as OpenAI’s GPT-4, ChatGPT, GPT-3, EleutherAI’s GPT-J & GPT-NeoX, Microsoft and NVIDIA’s Megatron, Cohere, and AI21 Labs’ Jurassic-1.
Responsibilities
* Explore client’s product vision and needs
* Evaluate possible approaches to solving the problem and decide on best course of action (best defined as fast, economical, and effective)
* Source and curate training dataset
* Design, train, fine-tune, optimize, and improve models
* Develop techniques to train and serve models faster
* Train extremely large scale models on massive datasets
* Deploy models as APIs
* Work closely with our internal product team to develop both consumer-facing and business-facing products
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Python and related ML frameworks such as PyTorch and Tensorflow
* Proficiency with large language models such as OpenAI’s GPT-3, GPT-3.5, GPT-4, GPT-J 6B, GPT-NeoX 20B, T5, Flan-UL2, and others
* Familiarity with autoregressive sequence models, such as Transformers
* Experience with Hugging Face, Weights & Biases, LangChain, and similar libraries
* Experience using large-scale distributed training strategies
* Experience with writing production-ready code, using CI/CD, and deploying models on major cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure
* Experience using Kubernetes and Docker
* Awareness of specialized hardware providers such as Cirrascale, Cerebras, SambaNova, and GraphCore
* Strong written and oral communication and problem-solving skills
* A demonstrated passion for applied NLP models and products
* Passion for learning and applying the latest in LLM and NLP research
