Overview
Sheffield University’s Advanced Computing Research Centre (ACRC) seeks to recruit a Research Developer to undertake work on the areas of Data and Text Analytics. The post holder will work on both research and industrially driven development projects for the ACRC’s clients.
The ACRC is an industry-facing research centre that provides opportunities for companies to develop innovative products and services by exploiting the knowledge base of Sheffield University in the key areas of Analytics, Software Quality and Large Scale Simulation. The post holder will report to the Directors of the ACRC and will have a postgraduate qualification with significant emphasis on Data Science, Machine Learning and/or Natural Language Processing.

The post holder will also have strong programming skills, perferably in Java, C, Perl or Python, and the ability to create software solutions.
