Overview

The Natural Language Processing Group at the National University of
Singapore invites applications for Research Assistant and Research Fellow
positions in the Department of Computer Science, School of Computing (SoC)
in the research areas of information extraction, question answering, machine
translation, and natural language processing. The initial appointment is for
a period of one year, with possible extension subject to research funding
availability. The candidate will join at the rank of Research Assistant or
Research Fellow, depending on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications:

For the research assistant position, the candidate should possess a good
honors degree or equivalent in computer science or a related discipline.
Strong programming skills and good command of English (both spoken and
written) are required. Candidates interested in pursuing research leading to
a PhD degree in computer science at NUS with specialization in natural
language processing are strongly preferred.

For the research fellow position, the candidate should possess a PhD degree
in computer science or a related discipline, and a strong publication record
in natural language processing, machine learning, or related areas. Strong
programming skills and good command of English (both spoken and written) are
also required.
