I am looking for PhD students in e-Health and Sign Language Translation at the School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Queen’s University in Belfast, UK. The details of the projects are below:
Breaking Barriers: AI-Powered Sign Language Translation for Enhanced Healthcare Access for the Deaf . The Project is co-supervised by Prof. Asif Ekbal, Professor, IIT Jodhpur, India, and Dr. Anna Jurek-Loughrey, Senior Lecturer, EEECS, Queen’s University.
Empowering Mothers: AI-Enhanced Personalized Management of Gestational Diabetes . The project is co-supervised by Prof. Pietro Liò, Professor, Department of Computer Science and Technology, University of Cambridge, UK.
Both projects offer an exciting opportunity for students to spend time at the prestigious University of Cambridge in the UK and IIT Jodhpur in India.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate is expected to have a solid background in NLP, Machine Learning, Statistics, computer science, or related disciplines. The minimum academic requirement for admission to a research degree programme is normally an Upper Second Class Honours degree from a UK or ROI HE provider or an equivalent qualification acceptable to the University.
