Remote NLP internship
Alpinference is a small new company located in Grenoble, France, handling various Artificial Intelligence tasks. With our partners, we are currently working on computer vision and NLP projects. We offer a research internship for modifying and adapting large language models (LLMs). The internship will include a review of state of the art methods, identifying or creating relevant datasets and implementing and evaluating the methods. The intern will be accompanied by an experienced PhD researcher.
Intern profile
The applicant must be an officially-registered student in an education institution in France (this is a legal requirement).
Master student (M1/M2) in computer science, mathematics, engineering or any other relevant subject. Exceptional L3 students will also be considered.
Required experience:
• Competence in Python
• Hands-on experience with data science or machine learning projects, NLP in particular
• Ability to read and summarize academic papers
•… Good written English skills (spoken English skills not required if fluent in French); other languages – an advantage
Location: The position is 100% remote.
Compensation: This is a paid internship, with standard internship compensation
Duration: 2-3 months
Start time: May 2024
