Mission
The mission of the ML Engineer is to assume technical and strategic responsibility for Vocode’s roadmap as it pertains to infrastructure and pipelines bringing best-in-class models, fine-tuning, and tooling into our engineering organization.
🤹🏽♀️ Profile & Experience
* 5+ years working as a strong backend IC in more than one startup or technology company,
* Demonstrable experience evaluating and integrating modern tools and methodologies into a commercial production environment:
* You have the requisite strategic and commercial acumen to make recommendations and tradeoffs which benefit both technical and commercial stakeholders,
* You are comfortable taking end-to-end ownership of the implementation of your recommendations, and can make rapid progress without being blocked on specialized support (e.g. devops).
* You are passionate about the ever-changing gen. AI landscape, but discerning and strategic when evaluating new technology for commercial application,
* Familiarity with fine tuning and deploying models, building model evaluation frameworks, and working with large training sets.
