Overview
Seed level start up, working in stealth mode, is seeking experienced Engineers in the LLM space to help build disruptive technology at the intersection of AI and Financial Markets.
You will work with a close knit team of former systematic Portfolio Managers, Research Scientists and Engineers to design and implement key components of their models and platform.
This firm believes that AI will transform not only the tools that Quants, Traders, and Salespeople use, but the very nature of their roles. Who better to pioneer this than a former Quant who sought these solutions in the first place. Unlike most AI tech companies, this is firm is built by the experienced market professionals for other market professionals.
Responsibilities
* Work directly with the Founders to build the core AI components of our platform
* Perform quantitative research to optimize the performance, robustness, and ease of use of our AI models
* Quantitatively evaluate cutting edge algorithms and AI models based on research of scientific literature, forums, open source codebases
* Implement tools and processes to monitor model behavior and performance
* Clearly articulate and discuss the motivations behind your work, and teach us about what you’ve learned
You might be a good fit if you
* Entrepreneurial spirit and has the ambition to built a start up into generational wealth for their employees.
* Strong coding skills and a solid foundation in data structures and algorithms
* Strong background in statistical data analysis and quantitative research
* Have completed at least one research project in machine learning or NLP, and understand their capabilities and limitations
* Enjoy working within a fast-paced team tackling hard problems in the Generative AI space
* Enjoy staying on top of the latest developments in AI research and tools
* Like writing up and communicating your results, even when they’re null
* Thrive working on a team and making collaborative, data-driven research decisions
