Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Scientist to join our “ML for antibody discovery” team. As a Machine Learning Scientist, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing cutting-edge machine learning algorithms and models to accelerate the discovery and optimisation of therapeutic antibodies.About the role

The ideal candidate would be skilled in machine/deep learning and have an affinity for statistics and biology.Develop, implement and optimise computational approaches for antibody sequence analysis, function prediction, and properties optimisationDesign and develop machine learning models and algorithms to analyse large-scale antibody data setsStay versed in the latest advancements in machine learning related to protein design and antibody discovery researchApply statistical analysis and data mining techniques to extract meaningful insights from experimental dataCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the requirements and challenges in…… antibody discoveryPresent findings and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersQualifications

Ph.D. or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Bioinformatics, or a related fieldExperience with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as PyTorch and scikit-learnStrong background in machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modelling.Experience with protein language models and their applications is an advantageFamiliarity with antibody discovery processes and immune repertoires is beneficial, but not requiredStrong communication and collaboration skillsProficiency in PythonOpportunity to bring high-impact ideas to a small and agile team
