Overview
Responsibilities
• Build forecast models for datacenter load, energy prices, and solar generation.
• Develop algorithms for the optimal dispatch of battery energy storage systems.
• Keep up to date on the latest advancements in machine learning research to identify innovative solutions for energy-related challenges.
• Discover and incorporate new data sources to improve model accuracy.
• Strong Optimization skills
Qualifications
• PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning or equivalent.
• 2+ years or commercial working experience.
• Experience in both Machine Learning Research & Engineering (Primary focus being Research)
• Required Technical Skills – Time Series Analysis, Decision Trees, Python PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
