As a Machine Learning Engineer at TeachFX, you’ll be a key leader of our company as we scale, and you’ll help define TeachFX’s engineering culture. You’ll build the systems that will support our growth, and will have the ability to take ownership of projects from inception to completion. We are a deeply mission-driven company, working hard to develop tech that revolutionizes teacher professional learning — and we’re looking for engineers who want to use their skills to power our mission.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models tailored for classroom interactions.
* Collaborate with the product team to integrate AI capabilities into the platform.
* Continuously monitor and refine models to ensure optimal performance.
* Translate vast classroom data into actionable insights.
* Work closely with the tech and educational teams, ensuring models align with pedagogical needs.
* Stay updated with the latest in machine learning and AI research

You might be a good fit if:

* You have 2+ years of industry software engineering experience.
* You have a solid foundation in machine learning, deep learning, and AI.
* You have experience in deploying models in real-world applications.
* You have proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
* You have exceptional problem-solving skills and are eager to collaborate with other team members
* You have strong communication skills – capable of explaining complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* You are goal-oriented, with an emphasis on results.

Our tech stack: We use Airflow, Vertex AI, PyTorch, Docker, BigQuery, Data Studio, and other Google Cloud Platform services.
