Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Machine Learning Engineer to join our team at CFI. As the Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for spearheading advanced machine learning projects, turning complex data into impactful business solutions. Your role is crucial in driving innovation and enhancing our analytical capabilities to maintain CFI’s competitive edge in the industry.

Responsibilities:

– Design, develop, and implement Machine Learning models, with a focus on recommender systems, leads scoring, and time series forecasting.
– Interpret and analyze complex datasets to drive the development of ML models.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and identify opportunities for leveraging machine learning.
– Manage the entire Machine Learning model lifecycle and understand the development methodologies used in the industry, including data preparation, feature engineering, model training, and deployment.
– Capable of designing comprehensive ML systems and effectively presenting the vision and strategy behind these designs to management.
– Ensure data quality and integrity in collaboration with the Data team.
– Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
– Maintain the full data science and analysis documentation.
– Collaborate with the data team to develop and maintain ML pipelines, including experiment tracking and A/B testing platforms.
– Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.

Qualifications:

– BSc or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
– Experience in ML models design, and implementation.
– Strong analytical skills for data handling and accuracy.
– Proficiency in Python and experience with ML/DL libraries and frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, LightGBM, CatBoost, Scikit-learn, MLflow, etc.).
– Deep understanding of Classical ML, DL, and NLP techniques.
– Familiarity with SOTA models and approaches in ML, DL, and NLP.

– Experience with data processing and ETL processes.
– Familiarity with data pipeline and workflow management tools (e.g., Prefect, Apache Airflow).
– Ability to interpret and implement ML techniques from research papers.
– Knowledge of Databricks, Apache Spark, or similar big data technologies.
– Good communication skills and team collaboration.
