WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative machine learning engineer to join us as we enhance our data analytics platform with a strong focus on energy disaggregation algorithms based on Trustworthy AI principles. With overlappings into exciting data engineering topics you will play a pivotal role in shaping and building our core data intelligence systems. We are looking for someone who is fluent in English (German is a plus) and who can work proactively with a flexible mindset. WHAT QUALIFICATIONS SHOULD YOU BRING?
• Degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, mathematics or a related field.
• At least 1 year of professional experience in a data science or machine learning engineer role with a good exposure to design, development and validation (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Good experience in deep-learning based generative AI architectures (e.g. CNNs, GANs).
• Experience in building data pipelines, in relational (e.g. PostgreSQL) and/or non‑relational database management systems (e.g. NoSQL, Amazon DynamoDB) is a big plus.
• Knowledge of common API architectures (e.g. RESTful, GraphQL, gRPC) is a plus.
• Experience in agile development methodology such as Scrum or Kanban (e.g. Jira) is a plus.

The job role foresees a fixed-term contract of 12 months with the potential to extend to a permanent employment. Minimum salary is EUR 3,077.00 gross/month (based on a 38.5 hours working week). Overpayment is possible depending on qualifications and experience. Employment start date is immediately or in July/August 2024.
