JURA CEMENT includes the production plants in Wildegg (AG) and Cornaux (NE). With a production capacity of over 1 million tons of cement, we are the second largest cement manufacturer in Switzerland. • Developing and leading AI (machine learning) and digitalization projects
• Programming the PLC controls (ABB & Siemens)
• Developing and submitting suggestions for improvements regarding automation
• Exchange of experiences and coordination with AI and automation specialists from CRH
• Development and management of predictive maintenance tools
• If suitable, further development of the technical IT infrastructure including network security and backup systems
• Supporting maintenance and… optimization work on measurement and control technology, dosing scales, frequency converters and control systems
This is how you get involved with us
• Studied as a computer scientist, software or automation engineer
• Good knowledge of programming, measurement and control technology, operating systems
• Knowledge of project management
• German: Good knowledge, English: Very good subject-related knowledge
• Strong team player with a structured and independent way of working
• Networked and cross-departmental ability to think and act
• Willingness to get involved in your own company fire department
