The Role

You’ll spearhead the development of a cutting-edge Generative AI application from the ground up.

Key responsibilities will include:
• Assessing the existing prototype and advising on the optimal technical strategy and architecture moving forward.
• Collaborating with the founders to refine the product vision and ensure technical solutions align with business needs.
• Researching, defining, and implementing the core machine learning models and application tech stack.
• Building and leading a high-performance engineering team to execute the product roadmap.
• Representing the technical perspective in fundraising efforts and investor discussions.

Over the first 12 months, you’ll have the product ready for robust demonstrations, with a capable team in place. Within 24 months, you will have optimised the software to handle large volumes of cases daily, establishing the platform as a groundbreaking force in the legal tech space.

About you
• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
• Expertise in machine learning for natural language processing.
• Strong Python coding skills.
• Good knowledge of modern LLM application architectures.
• Strong software engineering principles with the ability to architect scalable, efficient systems.
• Experience in data engineering and the full data lifecycle for machine learning projects
• Demonstrable potential and desire to grow and lead a high-performing technical team
• A passion for pushing technological boundaries and creating innovative solutions
