Qualifications:
Requirements: – Five+ years of professional server development experience using Java or similar object oriented language.
– Strong understanding of web-based architecture – web servers, load balancing, caching, databases, replication, etc.
– Experience in NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase), Tomcat/Jetty.
– Experience developing data driven web applications in Java.
– Up-to-date knowledge of latest trends in web application development, including Amazon AWS eco-system / Google GAE.
– Experience building and using RESTful APIs.
– Ability to work independently and in a team.
– Excellent communication skills
– Search engine familiarity (Solr, Lucene, Elastic search) – Plus
