Description
Define and evolve the data architecture , ensuring its scalability and alignment with the technology plan.
Design and implement the Data Platform (Salesforce Data 360), coordinating the implementation partners, Olocip, and the internal team.
Establish the data governance model : quality, lineage, security and regulatory compliance (GDPR).
In-depth audit of what has been built: data lake, golden data record, key integrations (SSO, CRM, ERP).
Generate technical documentation as a basis for knowledge transfer.
Act as PM for the most complex data projects (Data Platform, Phase 4 of the Datalake, integrations with new ERPs).
Coordinate external suppliers and implementers, ensuring compliance with deadlines, technical quality and knowledge transfer.
Support the development of reporting layers in Power BI with criteria regarding data sources and reporting architecture.
Lead or supervise integrations between the data lake and core systems: ERP Finance, ERP Retail, Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud.

Qualifications:

University degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Telecommunications or a related discipline.

Postgraduate training in Data Engineering, Cloud Architecture or Data Management will be considered an asset.

Azure proficiency (Datalake, Data Factory, Synapse, or equivalent). Azure certifications (AZ-900, DP-203, or equivalent) will be a differentiating factor.
Solid knowledge of SQL and at least one data-oriented programming language (Python preferred).
Knowledge of modern data architectures : medallion architecture, data mesh, lakehouse.
Ability to audit third-party code, pipelines, and integrations using your own criteria.
Familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem (Sales, Marketing Cloud, Data 360) as a data consumption layer.
Essential Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture or similar roles.
Demonstrable experience working with Azure Datalake or equivalent platforms (AWS, GCP) in production environments.
Experience in designing and implementing data integrations between heterogeneous systems (ERP, CRM, digital platforms).
Experience managing or coordinating external data partners/providers
Experience in Power BI projects or other BI/reporting tools connected to complex data layers.

Highly valued

Experience in implementing Customer Data Platforms (CDP): Salesforce Data Cloud/Data 360, Segment, mParticle or similar.
Experience in the entertainment, sports, retail or digital media sectors – environments with a high user base and fan/customer behavior data.
Having led processes of internalizing technical capabilities
Experience building or developing data teams from initial stages.
