Join the Platform Architecture & Technologies Team in Localization Services as an intern and have the opportunity to gain hands–‐on experience with our Machine Translation solutions and Natural Language Technology tools.

The Computational Linguists are responsible for maintaining and enhancing Machine Translation solutions and other Natural Language Technology tools within the Autodesk Localization Services Department. This department is known for its industry–‐leading machine translation and translation automation program for software products, documentation, websites, and marketing assets.
The objective of the internship is to gain knowledge of our Machine Translation solution and help us improve its quality.

Qualifications:
Requirements
Currently pursuing a degree in Computational Linguistics and/or Informatics with a specialization in Natural Language Processing
Basic knowledge of statistical machine translation (MT)
Basic knowledge of automatic evaluation metrics for MT such as BLEU, METEOR, or TER
Basic to intermediate experience with at least one scripting language such as Perl or Python
Enthusiastic team player with ability to work independently on assigned work packages
Preferred qualifications and skills
Familiarity with the Moses MT toolkit
Intermediate to Advanced working knowledge of Perl/Python and/or Java/Scala
Experience manipulating large text corpora
