We are collaborating with a pioneering technology firm headquartered in London, specialising in harnessing the capabilities of machine learning and artificial intelligence to catalyse advancements in the automotive and aviation sectors.
Role Overview:
You will provide strategic direction and oversight, guiding the team in the development, implementation, and deployment of cutting-edge machine learning models. As a pivotal figure in their research and development endeavours, you will drive the design, implementation, and deployment of cutting-edge machine learning models with tangible real-world impacts. You will spearhead projects across diverse domains such as natural language processing, computer vision, and beyond, working closely with cross-functional teams to tackle intricate challenges.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and deployment of state-of-the-art deep learning models, particularly focusing on… natural language processing applications.
• Collaborate closely with researchers, engineers, and product managers to comprehend requirements and translate them into scalable machine learning solutions.
• Oversee the implementation and optimisation of machine learning algorithms and models, utilising Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Sci-kit Learn.
• Conduct rigorous experiments, analyse outcomes, and iterate on models to enhance performance and accuracy continually.
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in deep learning research, integrating pertinent techniques into our projects.
• Drive code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and contribute to refining our development processes.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing and deploying deep learning models, with a profound understanding of neural networks and their architectures.
• Proficiency in Python programming language and hands-on experience with relevant libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Sci-kit Learn, and Keras.
• Robust comprehension of natural language processing (NLP) techniques and frameworks.
• Familiarity with machine learning best practices encompassing data preprocessing, feature engineering, model evaluation, and deployment.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and adeptness in thriving within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong communication skills enabling effective articulation of technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have:
• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Previous experience with computer vision and image processing techniques.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and a track record of deploying machine learning models in production environments.
• Contributions to open-source projects or publications in pertinent conferences or journals.
