Now part of a wider group, this start-up team were recently acquired and now have the backing and funding to expand on their existing Machine Learning team, focused on providing intelligent market insights and recommendations. Using their ML platform, they’ve been delivering actionable and relevant insights that are helping brands including VMLY&R and Collab.
Working with cutting-edge NLP and recommender systems, they’re looking to implement knowledge graph technology to further advance their existing techniques. With over 300 live datasets from social media and across the internet, they have access to 100’s of TBs of data.
THE ROLE
Heading up a small team of Machine Learning Engineers, you’ll be expected to be a proactive leader, defining roadmaps, improving on current ML models and driving improvements via new ML techniques. With big expansion plans for the coming years, you’ll also take responsibility for onboarding and training up new members of the team.
This is a hands-on role, so you’ll take an active part in the production and deployment of these models, as well as maintenance of data pipelines.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
Expertise in Machine Learning techniques – Recommenders, NLP, Knowledge Graphs
Proficiency with Python, SQL/NoSQL and cloud platforms (ideally AWS)
Knowledge of serverless architectures e.g Lambda within AWS
Excellent communication skills
Proven leadership/managerial qualities
Highly educated in a relevant quantitative/data focused STEM subject
