We are partnering with an innovative and rapidly growing organization seeking a Director of AI to lead the strategy, development, and deployment of cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions across the business.
This role is ideal for a proven AI leader who can bridge technical excellence with business impact. You will be responsible for defining the company’s AI vision, building and mentoring high-performing teams, and driving the successful delivery of machine learning and generative AI initiatives that create measurable value.
What You’ll Do
Develop and execute the company’s AI and machine learning strategyLead and scale teams of AI Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, Data Scientists, and Applied ResearchersDrive the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered products and featuresEstablish best practices for model development, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and governancePartner with Product and Engineering leadership to prioritize AI initiatives aligned with business objectivesEvaluate emerging technologies, foundation models, and AI frameworks to maintain a competitive advantageOversee MLOps infrastructure and model lifecycle managementGuide the implementation of Generative AI, LLM, NLP, computer vision, and predictive analytics solutions where applicablePresent technical strategies and business outcomes to executive leadership and key stakeholdersBuild a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in software engineering, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or data science5+ years of leadership experience managing technical teamsProven track record delivering AI/ML solutions from concept through productionDeep expertise in machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, or similarStrong understanding of modern AI architectures, including large language models (LLMs), retrieval systems, agentic workflows, and Generative AIExperience deploying and scaling AI systems in production environmentsStrong programming skills in Python and familiarity with modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
