THE APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMME
We are seeking ambitious apprentices to join our team. This programme offers exposure to real client projects across several industries. We provide a professional and supportive environment that helps people do high quality work and deliver clear commercial value.
The 9-month programme is delivered in three stages. Progression is based on a go or no-go assessment at the end of each stage. A stipend is paid during stages two and three. Each apprentice is assigned a mentor and receives structured training in areas such as data mining, statistical modelling, and practical problem solving. Successful apprentices will be considered for full-time roles.
You will gain experience in data analysis, data engineering, visualisation and AI/ML, including classic modelling techniques such as logistic regression, random forests and SVMs, as well as work with generative AI. Most project work will use MS Azure or AWS.
OBJECTIVES
• Develop a solid understanding of how data science supports business decisions and real-world problem solving.
• Learn to work with data from many sources and to clean, transform and prepare it for modelling.
• Gain practical proficiency in machine learning including supervised and unsupervised methods, feature engineering and model evaluation.
• Engage with internal and external clients and learn how to present analysis, modelling outcomes and recommendations with confidence.
EXPECTATIONS
• You are motivated to develop your skills and work on demanding analytics projects.
• You have experience with Python, SQL and relational databases, and are familiar with Power BI or Tableau.
• You have some knowledge of cloud platforms such as MS Azure or AWS.
• You communicate clearly and work well with others.
• You are eligible to work in the EU.
• Knowledge of Linux is helpful.
