The right candidate will be working directly with our semantic search technology used by world renowned publishers around the globe. Our challenges include leveraging the Semantic Web to deliver the best search results, select the most relevant adverts and to improve natural language understanding. * Expert in C/C++ programming, including STL
* Experience in multi-threaded application, sockets
* Experience in scalable architectures and high-throughput application design
The following experience is a plus:
* Natural Language Processing (ontology, machine learning, related statistics)
* Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hadoop, Hive)
* Semantic web technologies (OWL, RDF, microformats, microdata, triple stores, SPARQL)
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to identify and exploit recent research in order to solve the problem at hand. Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) and the ability to handle all aspects of the software life cycle are essential to our small team.
