We’re seeking passionate engineers who bring fresh ideas from all areas, including Generative AI, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, UI design, Information Retrieval, Data Analytics, Vector and Graph DBs, large-scale system design, security, and much more!

As an AI/ML engineer, you will play a vital role to deliver multiple digital transformation projects using Google Cloud’s technology, making a tangible difference in our clients’ businesses. With your technical expertise you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions, while liaising with different stakeholders. Our engineers need to be good communicators, versatile, proactive, display leadership qualities and be enthusiastic to take on new problems across the full-stack as we continue to push technology forward.

Responsibilities:
• Customer Focus: Build productive relationships in order to proactively understand client needs, challenges, and opportunities to drive the implementation of innovative solutions that address these challenges and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Effectively communicate with stakeholders to influence teams and achieve shared goals.
• Excellence: Consistently deliver high-quality work, manage and document projects effectively, and make strategic decisions, while providing recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Innovation: Develop AI/ML solutions to optimise productivity, delight customers, and drive growth through experimentation, fine-tuning, and deployment of AI/ML models. Take the initiative in staying current with new and emerging ideas, actively seek out development opportunities, advocate for innovative solutions, and share knowledge with people throughout the organisation to drive continuous innovation.
• Speed: Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects and internal initiatives by proactively identifying and leveraging opportunities for efficiency. Show resilience, dealing effectively with ambiguous problems and situations.
• Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and pain points. Work closely with colleagues to define and implement AI/ML solutions that address these challenges. Share knowledge, mentor team members, and foster a collaborative environment to achieve shared goals.

About the candidate:
• Educational Background: Degree (min 2.1) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• AI/ML Expertise: Strong hands-on experience in designing, developing and deploying AI/ML models and algorithms
• Experience building and developing cloud-based solutions, and/or experience with compute technologies, storage, and AI architectures.
• Experience with Generative AI (prompt engineering, fine-tuning, model evaluation, etc.) will be highly beneficial
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in one or more programming languages commonly used in software development, such as Python, Java, C++. As well as proficiency in one or more frontend programming languages, such as JavaScript (React, Angular, etc.)
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), software development tools (e.g., IDEs, CI/CD pipelines), and Front-End development is highly desirable.
