ROLE OVERVIEW:
We’re seeking an AI/ML Developer with a specialization in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and experience in training, fine-tuning, and evaluating transformer models. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience, a strong background in ML engineering, developing full-stack applications with generative AI models, and a passion for healthcare technology.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: Proven experience in AI/ML development roles with a focus on NLP. Experience in the healthcare industry or working with healthcare data is a plus.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in training, finetuning, and evaluating transformer models using PyTorch and HuggingFace. Experience in developing full-stack applications with large language models (LLMs). Familiarity with Python, PyTorch, huggingface-transformers, and LLM orchestration frameworks such as langchain.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive innovation and implement new technologies. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
AI/ML Development: Train and fine-tine transformer models using PyTorch and HuggingFace. We’re currently bootstrapping with GPT-4 in production, but are working on training and finetuning our own generative models for various applications.
Full-Stack Development: Develop full-stack applications with large language models (LLMs).
Collaboration: Work closely with the AI/ML team and cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML solutions into Clearpol’s products and services.
Research and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest AI/ML technologies and trends. Drive innovation by implementing new technologies and approaches.

* Full stack development (we’re a small startup, so you may need to pitch in on the web dev side of things from time to time)
* Academic research
* Microsoft Azure
* OpenAI
* Huggingface / transformers
* Pytorch
* Pinecone for RAG application development
* langchain
* LLM Agent (ReAct, plan and execute, etc.) development
* PostgreSQL
* Developing HIPAA compliant applications
* Deploying ML models at scale
