In this role, you will engage in hands-on data platforms and applications, fostering teamwork and collaboration with both development and marketing teams.
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled AI/Machine Learning Data Engineer to develop and enhance the recommendation engine and virtual assistant that powers our social media platform. This role requires a deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and a passion for data-driven problem solving.

This is an ONSITE position.
Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and data pipelines to support AI-driven solutions.
• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines for both batch and real-time data processing using tools like Apache Spark, Kafka, and related big data frameworks.
• Work with graph databases such as AWS Neptune to query and analyze graph-structured data using SPARQLand Gremlin.
• Build and optimize scalable APIs and data-driven services with PostgreSQL and other modern databases.
• Perform model deployment, monitoring, and optimization using cloud platforms like AWS and tools like SageMaker.
Required Qualifications:
• Education: Enrolled or completed a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in internships or professional roles related to machine learning, data engineering, or AI.
Technical Skills:
• Machine Learning: Proficiency in building, training, and deploying machine learning models using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Big Data & Distributed Systems: Hands-on experience with Apache Spark for distributed data processing, PySpark, or Spark MLlib for scalable machine learning.
• Graph Databases: Knowledge of querying and working with graph databases like AWS Neptune, SPARQL, and Gremlin.
• Backend Engineering: Solid experience with backend technologies, including TypeScript, React, Node.js/Fastify, and PostgreSQL.
• Cloud & DevOps: Experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, EC2, Lambda, SageMaker, AWS Personalize) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Real-Time & Batch Processing: Knowledge of building real-time data pipelines using Apache Kafka and batch pipelines with Apache Spark or Airflow.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in Data Lakes: Familiarity with data lakes such as AWS S3 or Delta Lake, and integrating them into machine learning workflows.
• Model Deployment: Experience deploying machine learning models using MLOps tools, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Data Visualization: Ability to visualize data insights and ML results using tools like Plotly, Tableau, or Dash.
Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug, troubleshoot, and improve systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Ability to learn quickly and stay updated on the latest advancements in AI/ML and related technologies.
