The visiting professor who was meant to give the “Natural Language Processing using Python” had to cancel last minute as he had to face a private emergency.
This 25hrs course is to be given Monday-Friday, 5hrs per day, on week 37 (Monday September 11th to Monday September 15th).
The course must cover a theoretical foundations for Natural Language Processing as well as one or two Python frameworks for applications: NLTK, TextBlob, spaCy or the Python wrappers for Stanford CoreNLP. An small applicative project will be assigned to students to evaluate them. The professor is welcome to reuse teaching materials as long as she/he brings added value to the content.
The course can be given either from our Paris (5th district) or Nice Sophia-Antipolis campus.
Usual class times are 10am-12am and 1pm-4pm, but this can be flexible due to the emergency nature of this call, including factoring the 25hrs of classes in 4 days instead of 5.
