The Amazon Business Customer Service team is currently looking for an experience Translation and Localization Project Manager to grow our localization capabilities.
Work closely with external vendors and internal customers
Work closely with external vendors and internal customers
Develop project plans, establish SLAs and workflows
Manage time, budget, resources, and quality control
Maintain and improve linguistic assets such as translation memories and terminology database.
Work with partners to improve machine translation systems and measure their impact
Proactively collaborate with relevant stakeholders to resolve questions or issues related to source file discrepancies, terminology, language quality and workflow
Manage localization success metrics, including financials.




Basic Qualifications
5+ years experience as Localization and Translation Project Manager
Solid in-depth knowledge of internationalization and localization
Thorough understanding of localization file formats (HTML, XML, etc.) and CAT tools
Excellent English-language communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Strong stakeholders management and project management
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and in a fast-paced environment
Proven abilities in project planning, resource and risk management
Strong team player in a multi-cultural environment
Preferred Qualifications
Content Management Systems (CMS)
Hands-on software UI and Web UI localization experience
Fluency in a non-English language
Project Management certification
Advanced Excel skills, ability to create macros or other task automation
