Our Content Intelligence Team
Based in Madrid, the AMPLEXOR Content Intelligence Team is a multidisciplinary team of NLP Engineers, Data Scientists, Software Architects and Engineers. It designs, implements and delivers solutions that:
turn data and multilingual content into knowledgeable and actionable insights;
support AMPLEXOR’s customers with the smart automation of high-volume, multilingual content, information and data processing as well as decision making;
exploit and integrate advanced concepts and capabilities from various domains, such as Natural Language Processing, Machine/Deep Learning, and Big Data.
For our office in Madrid we are looking for an experienced individual who is passionate about state-of-the-art, multilingual Natural Language Processing and enjoys working in a global, collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. This role requires demonstrated experience in applied Deep/Machine Learning for solving real-world NLP problems.
Participate in designing the integrated architecture of our solutions;
Develop novel solutions, approaches and models at scale – from inception to business impact – for various industry- or domain-specific business use cases;
Design, build, improve and extend NLP capabilities, especially for non-English languages;
Learn fast through hands-on rapid prototyping of 3rd party software, both commercial and Open Source, and proprietary development;
Monitor and identify trends in all relevant domains (e.g. NLP, Text Analytics, Machine/Deep Learning, Big Data, Business Intelligence) that help improving our solutions;
Explore and assess software frameworks, libraries and tools with the goal of driving the accuracy of our solutions up for our customers (not only in research or PoCs);
Tutor and mentor your colleagues to grow up the Content Intelligence team
Experience and Expertise
Graduate degree (PhD or MSc) in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, Artificial Intelligence or Data Science, preferably specializing in NLP;
3+ years of industry experience with primary focus on NLP, Machine Learning and Software Engineering;
Excellent understanding of linguistics and language as a phenomenon;
Using statistical NLP methods (including deep learning and word embeddings) to solve real world NLP problems;
Hands-on experience in two or more of the following fields: NLU, NLG, NER, WSD, IE, IR, QA, Document Classification, Knowledge Extraction, Machine Translation;
Hands-on experience with producing, processing, evaluating and utilizing training data (in particular: unstructured, multilingual content);
Software engineering methodologies and skills;
Strong knowledge of Python; other languages (e.g. C/C++, Java, Matlab, Octave, R) are an asset;
Demonstrated experience with NLP tools (NLTK, Stanford coreNLP, etc.), ML libraries (scikit-learn, Weka, etc.), and DL frameworks (Caffe, Keras, TensorFlow, Torch, etc.).
Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills combined with the ability to work independently;
Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a global, multidisciplinary team;
Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
