The Content Intelligence team is an international, multidisciplinary team of Data Scientists, NLP Engineers, Computational Linguists, Software Architects and Engineers.
We are looking for an experienced individual who is passionate about data and content science and enjoys working in a global, collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. This particular role requires demonstrated experience in applied, state-of-the-art Natural Language Processing including Deep Learning approaches, and a willingness to work on non-NLP projects as needed.
Support building the architecture required to meet our current and future needs in the domain of Content Intelligence solutions;
Develop novel solutions, approaches and models at scale – from inception to business impact – for various industry-specific business use cases in collaboration with corresponding stakeholders (e.g. Customers, Business Representatives, Solution Managers, Subject Matter Experts, Software Engineers);
Exploring and experimenting with new deep learning frameworks and models, with the goal of driving the accuracy of our solutions up for our customers (not only in research or PoCs);
Build, improve and extend NLP capabilities, especially for non-English languages, including the optimization of pre-existing algorithms for accuracy and speed;
Learn fast through hands-on rapid prototyping of 3rd party software, both commercial and Open Source, and proprietary development;
Work on training and refining various models to attain a high bar of required specificity needed by our customers;
Monitor and identify trends in all relevant domains (e.g. Advanced Text Analytics/Mining, NLP, Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Big Data, Business Intelligence) that help improving our solutions;
Assess software frameworks, libraries, tools and packages;
Tutor and mentor your colleagues to grow up the Content Intelligence team;
Collaborate effectively with other teams to align on direction and leverage existing solutions, tools and knowledge
Experience and Expertise
Graduate degree (PhD or MSc) in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or another highly quantitative field, specializing in deep learning, machine learning, or preferably NLP;
4+ years of industry experience (natural language processing, machine learning and software engineering) preferred;
Deep understanding of modern machine learning techniques and their mathematical underpinning, such as classification, recommendation systems and natural language processing;
Proven ability to tailor machine learning solutions to business problems in a cross functional team;
Excellent understanding of linguistics and language as a phenomenon;
Experience with semantic analysis techniques;
Experience with statistical NLP methods including deep learning and word embeddings;
Comfortable with supervised, unsupervised, online and semi-supervised learning methods;
Application of machine learning algorithms (e.g. CRF, SVM, HMM) and deep learning approaches (e.g. CNN, RNN, LSTM) to solve real world NLP problems;
Previous work in two or more of the following fields: Natural Language Understanding (NLU), Natural Language Generation (NLG), NER, Text and Document Classification, Information Extraction, Information Retrieval, Knowledge Extraction, Question Answering, Machine Translation;
Good understanding and hands on experience of text pre-processing and normalization techniques;
Expertise in producing, processing, evaluating and utilizing training data;
Software development methodologies and skills (source code management, debugging, testing, deployment, etc.);
Strong knowledge of Java and Python;
Familiarity with programming in other languages (e.g. C/C++, Matlab, Octave, R) are an asset;
Demonstrated experience with NLP tools (Gensim, NLTK, Stanford coreNLP, spaCy, etc.), ML libraries (scikit-learn, Weka, etc.), and DL frameworks (Caffe, CNTK, Keras, TensorFlow, Theano, Torch, etc.).
