Natural Language Processing Lab at Chulalongkorn University is now
accepting applications for one doctoral student under supervision of Dr.
Attapol Thamrongrattanarit-Rutherford, the head of the research group. The
lab is housed at the Department of Linguistics, Faculty of Arts. The
student will work with Dr. Rutherford to choose suitable thesis topics. The
student is expected to start in August 2019 or January 2020.
Strong programming background
Genuine interest in natural language processing
Good English proficiency (especially for non-Thai applicants)
Good to have
Knowledge of classic Natural Language Processing models
Experience with Machine Learning and/or Neural network modeling
Previous research experience
Fluency in Thai or willingness to learn Thai
