We’re looking for an Ontologist/Computational Linguist Intern to join our fast-growing team in Valencia (Spain).This internship is a research position, focused on further refining our unique ESG ontologies for corporate reports, news and social media. You will design and implement core ontologies, define standards and rules for creating new ontologies and provide expertise around knowledge structures and linguistic analysis.

Relevant experience:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in Computational Linguistics, Linguistics, Terminology, Taxonomy, Knowledge Management, Knowledge Representation, Library Science, Information Science, Information Management, Symbolic Systems, or other related disciplineExperience with full-text search, data extraction, and ontology-refining feedback loopsExperience handling heterogeneous data sources for vocabulary and metadata enhancementsHands-on experience with practical taxonomy and ontology modeling and implementationExperience with managing, organizing and classifying dataKnowledge of computational linguistics to support design, development, testing, and enhancement of systems that perform morphological, syntactic and semantic analysis, and/or automate knowledge base workExperience using ontology management systems to maintain categories, attributes, and other metadata.Knowledge of corporate sustainability and governance is a plusPositive, proactive attitude and strong communicative skills
Oral and written fluency in English, proficiency in a second language (Spanish) a plus
