We are building, crafting, shaping, and engineering a state of the art real-time engagement system for some of the largest brands in the world. The tech hub oversees 3M concurrent users, 150 microservices, 7 data centers worldwide, 4.5 petabytes of data, 20B events per day and consists of 20 scrum teams.
The data science research group is responsible for the algorithmic core of LivePerson’s products. We focus on three major domains: text analytics (including sentiment, topics, intent and text bots), predictive supervised machine learning, and routing and queue management. In the data science group, we both develop the algorithms and work closely with the engineers to ship to production.
We are looking for an NLP expert with extensive experience to join our team and be a domain expert in our text analytics research. What Will You Own?
Design and develop text analysis solutions that create meaningful value to our customers.
Work on top notch challenges such as agent assist and independent text bots.
Test your solutions on real-time data and analyze their performance.
Hands-on implementation of the algorithmic engines to production-level.
What Do You Need For Success?
M.Sc or Ph.D. in an exact science, computer science, statistics or a related field – a must.
5+ years of Natural Language Processing (NLP) experience – a must.
Experience working with NLP libraries such as NTLK and Stanford NLP.
Strong analytic skills
Experience pushing code to production – an advantage.
Quick learner with an aim to use new tools, languages and algorithmic concepts.
Experience with big data including Hadoop, MapReduce or Apache Spark – an advantage.
