We are now looking for an (Senior) Data Scientist (f/m/d) to join our team of 100 employees and to accompany us on our growth path, beginning as soon as possible.
Turning data into sense is at the very core of our purpose to help brands find and tell engaging stories. Our data scientists apply solutions to unstructured information and help us understand people’s needs and desires. They define standards and create transparency through numbers and make the performance of our communication tangible.
Lead the development of end-to-end machine learning projects
Utilize text and other unstructured data sources to generate insights about digital user behavior, marketing campaigns and product usage
Help identify technical opportunities for global digital marketing
Define requirements for analysis and reporting
Collaborate effectively with multiple teams and present results to internal and external stakeholders
Mentor others in skills needed for this role
University degree in computer science, computational linguistics, statistics, mathematics, economics, or similar with at least 3 years working experience
Deep understanding of NLP and experience in analyzing textual data using various language modeling techniques (ELMo, BERT, LSTM, CNN, etc.)
Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms (deep neural networks, xgboost, factorization machine, etc.)
Solid understanding of linear algebra and probability theory
Ability to connect to and analyze various data formats (flat files, data bases, APIs)
Proficiency in building predictive models using R or Python
Comfortable explaining technical concepts
Familiarity with cloud computing (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus
