The Graduate Programs in Analytics and Data Science in the Graduate
School at the University of New Hampshire (UNH) invite applications for
a full-time, Tenure-Track faculty position (rank open). Candidates
should have a record of excellent research and clear potential for
excellent teaching. This position will have an academic home in an
existing University department within one of the University’s Colleges,
chosen as appropriate for the faculty member?s scholarly emphasis.
Excellent opportunities for collaborative research exist through a
number of institutes and centers throughout UNH, including the Institute
for the Study of Earth, Oceans and Space, the Connectivity Research
Center, the Carsey School of Public Policy, the New Hampshire Institute
for Health Policy, and the Institute on Disability.

The programs, candidate, and the home department will work
collaboratively to determine the candidate?s teaching assignments,
research expectations, and service requirements. The teaching load will
include courses in Graduate Programs in Analytics and Data Science, in
person and online, and may include teaching in the home department.
Additional responsibilities include developing new programs, conducting
high impact, peer-reviewed scholarship, serving on department, college
and university committees; advising students (including Ph.D. students
as appropriate) and conducting service appropriate to their field and
departmental affiliation.

Candidates must possess an earned doctorate in an area related to Data
Science (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business
Analytics, Health Analytics, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, Physics,
among others). Candidates with successful teaching experience,
multidisciplinary research, and practical experience are valued.
Candidates should have a commitment to sustain and advance the
university?s goals of diversity and inclusion.
