The SYNALP  Research Group in Computational Linguistics has an open position for a research associate / Programmer starting as soon as possible.
The position is supported by the French National Research Agengy (ANR) and available in the WebNLG project . It aims at developing deep learning approaches for text generation, text simplification, text understanding and text compression. The candidate will work in close interaction with the WebNLG project members (Claire Gardent, Alejandra Lorenzo, Anastasia Shimorina, Yannick Parmentier and Emilie Colin), using the WebNLG and the WebSplit data and experimenting with deep learning approaches such as convolutional networks, seq2seq models, deep reinforcement learning, multi-task, one-shot and transfer learning.

Prerequisite is a PhD degree or a Master in computer science, computational linguistics or a related field. Candidates are expected to have solid programming skills and experience with deep learning. Prior experience in natural language processing is a plus.
Knowledge of French is **not** a requirement.
