Overview
Cboe is looking for a Data Scientist with an intrapreneurial spirit and a passion for the financial markets to join our Risk & Market Analytics (RMA) team. As a member of the RMA team, you’ll be applying your analytical skills to a vast array of financial data across several asset classes, exchanges, and continents creating value-added analytics and supporting data driven decisions in the financial markets.
Responsibilities
Process/validate structured and unstructured data
Analyze large amounts of financial data to identify trends and patterns
Create value-added derived data & analytics
Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms
Present information using data visualization techniques
Collaborate with technology, business, and product management teams

Qualifications:
Undergraduate or Graduate degree in computer science, applied mathematics or similar
Knowledge of Python, MySQL, R, and Excel
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work both collaboratively and independently on projects
