The University of Cambridge is seeking to recruit a new Faculty member in
the area of Computational Linguistics / Natural Language Processing. The
post will be at the level of University Lecturer (equivalent to Assistant
Professor). It is permanent and will be based at the Faculty of Modern and
Medieval Languages which houses a research laboratory in Computational
Linguistics (Language Technology Lab – http://ltl.mml.cam.ac.uk).

The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. degree and post-doctoral
experience in Computational Linguistics/NLP and will demonstrate an
excellent track record of independent research and publications in this
field. Experience of machine learning and its application to NLP is
essential. Preference will be given to candidates with broad and
cross-disciplinary research interests. In addition to engaging in research,
the successful candidate will contribute to undergraduate and graduate
teaching and to the administration of the Faculty.
